You'll soon be able to hop on a bus in Merrimack Valley, Mass., and head to any of the 16 cities and towns in the region for free.
That's thanks to a $125,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Boston Globe reports.
The money will go to Merrimack Valley Transit, Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, and Essex County Community Foundation to create a cultural map for the region.
The idea is to make it easier for people of all ages to get to arts and culture sites in the area.
"Our goal is to connect bus service aspects of arts and culture in a way it hasn't been before," says Merrimack Valley Transit's chair of the board.
The idea is to make it easier for people of all ages to get to the area's arts and culture sites.
The grant will go toward creating a map of the region's arts and culture sites, as well as figuring out how to make it easier for people of all ages to get there.
The project is expected to wrap up next year.
